A friend of ours had three extra tickets to see John McCain this morning in Defiance. We arrived at 7:00 a.m. I have two words for you: FREEZING COLD.
We could have gotten a little closer, but we opted for the bleachers so we could sit down. The girls' feet were numb! And the McCains were not scheduled to speak until 10:00 a.m., so standing that long did not appeal to the children either. We assured them that they would be glad they came. (Some day.)
So, this was the best picture I got of him - just to the right of the tree.
