We interrupt our regularly scheduled posting for a Keegan Funny...

During our Bible reading Tuesday night, which by the way had nothing to do with people dying or removing body parts, just so you understand this was totally out of the blue, Keegan had to interrupt with a serious question:

"Mama, if Daddy dies way before you and me, can we take his fingernails off and see what's underneath them? I always wondered what's under fingernails."

Clearly he was fully riveted by the story we were reading about John the Baptist.

And if you see Kyle around town wearing sturdy leather gloves in 60 degree weather, you'll now know why.

Okay...all I have to say is at least he wasn't asking to see what was under his TOE nails....yuck!!!!

In the interest of sparing your husband the trouble of wearing gloves, I could send you a picture of my daughter's toe taken a couple days after she got her big toenail ripped off. It's not that bad, really. Before the ER doc removed the last of it he said "Aw, it was painted and everything." How's that for gross??!! ;)

Never a dull moment with that little man is there!
That's why we love him.
I could describe in detail to him how my fingernail looked when it got ripped off in kindergarten. Do you think that would help with his curiosity?
