OK, stop looking at my toes! I didn't forget to polish them. I read just a couple of days before we left that toenail polish was frowned upon here. I had bright red polish in my cupboard. So, I picked up a bottle of really light pink at Wal-mart just a few days before we left, thinking maybe that would be OK. Time ran short and the next thing I knew Johnny and Jeremy were sitting in my living room waiting to take me to the airport.
At 3:20 AM. Bless their little pea-pickin' hearts.
I thought about bringing the polish along, but my qt. size bag was full. So, mousse for the perm or polish for the toes? I had to make a decision.
Anyhoo....... Caleb sucks his thumb when he sleeps. Apparently, he doesn't realize that people suck their FINGERS in our family.
He thinks wearing a bib is super cool. He wears it when we are haning out in our room. You know - not eating. Except for the donuts Yen bought us. But Caleb wouldn't try a bite. And we weren't wearing bibs.
He is terrified of balloons. He thinks the Build-A-Bear is stupid. We bought a case of water, which came in a box, which is good, because he ripped up his box he got as a Gotcha Day Gift. He didn't rip it in anger, in case you are thinking of my earlier post, he just thought it was fun.
This part of Vietnam is a lot like the cities we stayed in when we were in China. Crowded - oh, so crowded!! The traffic is insane. We love visiting, but will be happy to get back to our peaceful little cornfield in the Midwest.
Thanks a million to all of you who took the "Game" challenge so seriously. If you have been following along in the comments, I bet you wonder why, except for one of my THREE little sisters, (Hi Brandi - You're my favorite!), none of our family has left comments.
Yeah, me too.
I'm SURE they are reading along though. Yep, sure of it.
Well, we're gong to the zoo today, so I'm a bit pressed for time this morning. It takes a while to shower and mousse you hair and leave. Too bad, because I have lots more bouncing thoughts to share, but it will have to wait for another day.
Edited: Hey Lu! We Skyped the kids right after I posted and they told me you had commented! When people post it comes to my email and I read them there. Apparently that one (and a few others) didn't make it into my inbox. Ok, now I'm feeling a little more loved. :)

Now, I must stick up for your sisters...I did see a post from Aunt Lu Lu. I think in the Uncle Mihn blog? (Your welcome, Laura, the humidity must be getting to her!) Kelly, you just go back to bed and wake up at a more normal hour! :)
As far as the feet comments go...you know how I feel about ANYONE'S feet...YUCK YUCK YUCK! I would crop them out of all pictures, unless they belong to someone 5 and under.
Hope you have a GREAT day at the zoo...do you get to take others with you?!?
I meant to tell you earlier when I talked to you that it is snowing here, how crazy is that! So while you guys are sweating we are freezing. See I told you it would probably snow for Easter. Hope you guys have fun at the zoo and no one has any fits!
Okay....just read Cammies comment on the feet.....I totally agree feet are gross and honestly age 5 might be pushing it for me!
Oh Cam, I knew you were lovin' the toe talk!Sheila's right, snow, snow, SNOW!!!!!!!!! Johnny told the kids it would be easy to hide eggs this year. Go out and throw a handful in the air and they hide themselves. First one to dig through the snow and find one wins!Get the snowsuits and boots out kids it's egg huntin' time!
Have fun at the zoo! I have to say men feet are the grossest of all! I can do baby feet!
Don't worry just because LuLu played along I still know I'm your favorite! Don't worry I won't tell her.
I didn't even notice that your cute little toes weren't painted all I noticed was you are wearing sandals and I have to wear boots today that aren't even tall enough to block the massive amounts of snow from getting my pants wet!
I think Caleb gets cuter and cuter every picture I see!
Love you,
Brandi
OR is "Aunt Lu LU" your friend from the west? Hmmm...now I'm wondering...maybe the snow is getting to me.
:) Don't you just love me? I only commented on your toes because you mentioned you needed to paint them before you left. (is that proper english????) Any-who-it was quite a distraction from that cute little Caleb, I just couldn't take my eyes off of them! :)
Anyway, too bad Caleb thinks build-a-bear is stupid. Just wait, he'll get commercialized in a few years.........
I didn't even look at your toes until you said something....so now you have more people looking at your toes!
HEY!! Unfair sister comment. I JUST learned that you've been posting to this blog. I had been getting email updates letting me know of any changes. I hadn't received any, so I assumed that you didn't have systems access. DUH. Imagine my surprise when I just decided to take matters into my own hands and go to your site. So, you can accuse me of not being very bright...but definitely not unloving. Signed, Sister #1..who's enjoying reading through all your blog entries and great pics!
