Sah-weet!

Oh yeah! We were out shopping today when Rosalie received word that they got the kids' visas done and we were free to get out of Dodge!

We packed it up quick as we could and set off to the airport without tickets. Upon arrival, they told us that all the seats to HCMC were full and we could just wait and see. No worries. Did I mention Rosalie wears a cape and tights? She is Superwoman! She made some calls and the next thing we knew we were booked on the next flight out and they were letting us cut in line through security. I'll tell ya, that girl has connections. She also got us a nice hotel room here, which has a pool, so Caleb will get to take his first swim tomorrow.

The flight was ok, but Caleb and Kayla were both cranky. Uncle Kyle took Kayla half way through and she was content. Caleb...oh, Caleb. He is not going to like the 15 hour flight from Hong Kong to Chicago. Anyway, we had to say goodbye to Rosalie and Kayla once we got to the airport. Wow, God sure did bless us with their friendship these past couple of weeks. We are so excited for Rosalie's husband and son to meet Kayla. She is a sweetie pie.

Anyhoo, more good news is this: We are scheduled to return home on Monday night, instead of Wednesday! I don't have the flight specifics yet, but will post them tomorrow morning. It will be the same flight, just two days earlier.

And I must say that since we had to have that extra day in Hanoi, we got some fun things done that had wanted to do, so we were glad to have stayed. I'll send you some shots of those tomorrow as well.

Hooray! Have a great trip home - if you have extra time in Chicago, let us know, we are 45 minutes from the airport.

Yippee! See you soon. How about a dose or two of Benadryl for Caleb right before you get on the plane? Works for me!
